_ A seed planted in the Bhawani Saw Mills Compound 18 years ago on 8th November, 1985 has grown into a big tree & has spread its branches in all corners of Ulhasnagar township. Today, Bank is having six fully computerised Branches & an Extension Counter, working all seven days a week with extended business hours handling business volume of more than Rs. 230 crores serving a cliental base of more than one lakh people with dedicated staff strength of 179 members.

Depositors and Customers of the Bank come from all the segments of the society - households, Salaried class, Business community, Professionals etc. The Bank has retained its excellent record in social lending with priority sector Advances constituting nearly 60% of its Bank credit, out of which weaker section share is 25%. Apart from meeting credit requirements of trade, commerce and industry, the bank has been giving small loans to needy and weaker sections of the society for the various social causes, such as education, marriage purpose, medical treatment etc. without much delay.

Last year in 2005, the Bank successfully celebrated two decade of excellence in the service of Ulhasnagar Township. The Bank was also honoured and received Best Urban Co-operative Bank Award in the entire Maharshtra Region for the year 2004-05 from Maharashtra Urban Co-operative Banks' Federation in the deposit category of Rs.50 crores to Rs. 200 crores. The award was received by its Founder Chairman at the hands of shri Shailesh Kumar Sharma, Commissioner for Co-operation and Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Pune and shri N.S.
